Kenwood Area Tournament Lay-Out

The morning registration tent is located so a member of the fishing team can register while the other member is waiting his turn at the launch ramp. As soon as the boat is launched and the rig parked in the parking lot, breakfast is available at the cook's tent. Coffee and donuts are available in the dining tent. It is important that your boat be parked in the proper place to prevent confusion. The first 50 boats registered are parked in the inner pool. Boats with registration numbers higher than 50 must leave the inner pool as soon as possible and wait for the tournament to start in their proper staging area. (see "Boat Staging")
Boat Staging

Once the boats number 1 through 50 from the inner pool are clear of the "starter" boat, boat number 51 will be allowed to start and other boats will follow in sequence according to their number.
Fishermen returning to weigh in their days catch will find a boat near where the starter's boat was in the morning. This "check-in boat" will have heavy duty plastic bags for the returning fishermen in which they should place their catch with enough fresh water to keep the fish alive in the trip to the weigh-in scales. As fishermen enter the inner pool at Kenwood the dining tent and check-in operation will be on their right hand side. Ground your boats near the tent and carry your catch to the inspection table where the fish will be measured and inspected. They will then be weighed and the weight of the total catch and that of any large fish will be recorded. The fish will be turned over to a "fish runner" who will take the fish to the waiting Fresh Water Commission (FWC) barge with holding tanks. The fish will be returned to Rodman by the FWC when the weigh-in is complete.
